Here's a recipe to make Aam Panna:
Ingredients:
2 large raw mangoes
1 cup sugar (adjust according to taste)
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1 teaspoon black salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder(optional)
A handful of mint leaves
4 cups water
Ice cubes (for serving)
Instructions:
Wash the raw mangoes and pressure cook them until soft. Alternatively, you can boil them in a pot until they become tender.
Allow the cooked mangoes to cool down, then peel off the skin and remove the pulp.
In a blender, add the mango pulp, sugar, roasted cumin powder, black salt, black pepper powder, and mint leaves. Blend until you get a smooth mixture.
Add water to the blended mixture and stir well until everything is combined.
Taste the Aam Panna and adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more sugar or mango pulp if needed.
Pour the Aam Panna into a jug or pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
When serving, add ice cubes to glasses and pour the chilled Aam Panna over them.
Garnish with a few mint leaves and serve cold.
Aam Panna can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days. It is not only a refreshing summer drink but also acts as a natural coolant. Enjoy this traditional Indian beverage and beat the heat with its delicious flavors!
