Here's a simple recipe you can follow:
Ingredients:
1 small head of cabbage,thinely chopped
2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced
1/2 tsp garlic chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sugar
a pinch of asafoetida
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
Salt red chilli powder and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, diced tomatoes, and chopped coriander.
Add salt sugar pepper and red chilli powder and lemon juice toss to combine.
Add olive oil in a pan add mustard seeds,asafoetida and garlic in a pan. As garlic becomes slight brown switch off the flame.
Add this to salad bowl toss and combine again.
