Cabbage Tomato Salad

Here's a simple recipe you can follow:

Ingredients:

  • 1 small head of cabbage,thinely chopped

  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced

  • 1/2 tsp garlic chopped

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • a pinch of asafoetida

  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds

  • Salt red chilli powder and pepper to taste

    Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, diced tomatoes, and chopped coriander.

  2. Add salt sugar pepper and red chilli powder and lemon juice toss to combine.

  3. Add olive oil in a pan add mustard seeds,asafoetida and garlic in a pan. As garlic becomes slight brown switch off the flame.

  4. Add this to salad bowl toss and combine again.
