Drumsticks Soup

Drumstick soup is a nutritious and delicious soup that is made using drumsticks, which are also known as Moringa oleifera. Drumsticks are a good source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and adding them to a soup makes for a healthy and tasty meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 drumsticks, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces

  • 1 small onion roughly chopped

  • 2-3 garlic cloves

  • 1 small tomato sliced into 4 pieces

  • 3 cups of water

  • Salt,black salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 tsp sugar & 1/2 tsp cumin powder(optional)

  • coriander leaves & 2-3 small pieces of drumsticks for garnishing

    Instructions:

  • Add drumsticks pieces,onion,tomato,garlic to a pan or in cooker.

  • Add 2 cups of water and salt.

  • Then boil it in cooker upto 3-4 whistles. Let it cool down.

  • Blend the mixture with the help of blender until it get mashed properly.

  • Strain the mixture in a pan.

  • Add 1 cup water to it.

  • Add 1/4tsp salt,1/4tsp blacksalt and 1/2tsp crushed black pepper,cumin powder and sugar.

  • Give it a mix,on simmer boil it for 2-3 minutes.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves & drumsticks pieces and serve hot.
