Dry Fruit Gond Ladoos

Dry Fruit Gond Ladoo is a delicious and nutritious Indian sweet made with various dry fruits and edible gum (gond). It's a traditional treat often prepared during festivals . It is good for winters and for joins pain too. Here's a simple recipe to make Dry Fruit Gond Ladoo

Here's the recipe of Dry fruit Gond Ladoo-

Ingredients

Almonds(badam)-100 gm

Cashews(kaju)- 100 gm

Kishmish(raisins)- 50 gms

Gond(edible gum)- 50 gm

Khaskhas(poppy seeds)-3 teaspoon

Foxnut(makhana)- 100gm

Whole wheat flour- 2 cups

Ghee-300 gms

Jaggery- 2 bowls grated

Method-

1. Roast poppy seeds in a pan for 2-3 mins.

2.Take a pan, add 1 tablespoon ghee first fry almonds , cashews, makhana seperately for few mins till colour changes, then keep it aside

2.Then deep fry edible gum(gond) adding more ghee till it becomes fluffy.Let it cool then crumble it with the help of masher

3.Fry Kishmish in ghee for 30 seconds

4.Add rest of the ghee to the pan, leaving only 2 teaspoon ghee for melting jaggery.

5.Add Wheat flour to ghee .Roast it properly stirring it continuously till color changes to light brown, and aromatic flavour starts coming out.

6.Keep wheat flour aside, then add jaggery to same pan adding 2 teaspoon ghee so that jaggery doesn't get stick to the pan.

7.Once it get melts, till then grind almond, cashews , raisins, poppy seeds, makhana in grinder. Grind in 2 batches.

8.Add melted jaggery to grinded mixture, mix wheat flour and crumbled gond to it.Mix all ingredients properly.

9. Now give it a shape of ladoo.Make ladoo of any size you want.Keep it aside and leave it for 1 hour, then keep it in airtight container.

Note- You can add more different types of dryfruits according to your choice. Yo can also use dates instead of jaggery. For that you need to soak dates first for few hours then blend it in grinder then melt it on a pan add it to flour and dryfruits mixture. These dryfruit ladoo prepared using dates is a good option for diabetic people.
