Leftover Rice Ball
It is a healthy snacks recipe. One can have it for breakfast or evening snacks. It is made up of leftover cooked rice. So with this we learn not to waste rice just make quick snacks of hot rice ball with it which satisfies your hunger!

This is a quick breakfast recipe . Here is the recipe for leftover Rice Balls/Appe/Paniyaram-
Ingredients-
2 medium bowls cooked rice
1 bowl semolina(suji rava)
1/2 bowl curd
1 finely chopped green chillies
1 medium sized onion finely chopped
2 teaspoon chopped coriander
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
2 teaspoon black onion seed(Kalonji)-optional
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
salt
oil
Method-
1. Mix cooked rice, semolina, curd, green chillies, onion,coriander leaves to it.
2. Now add red chilli powder and salt(you can adjust the spices according to your taste).Add soda
3. Mix and mesh all the ingredients to make a thick batter.
4. Make medium size balls with it, roll each ball over black onion seed(Kalonji).
5. Take Appe pan grease it with oil. Put these balls over each cavity. Cover it with lid
for 5 mins on low flame. Then change the side drizzle little oil again over it then cook again for 5 mins. You can also deep fry in pan if you want.
6. When ball turns golden brown in color, then remove the balls with the help of spoon in the plate.
Serve hot Rice Balls/Appe/Paniyaram with sauce or chutney !Enjoy:)
Note- If batter becomes loose you can add rawa(semolina) to adjust the consistency.
If batter becomes tight and you are not able to make balls out of it you can add little water.
