Roasted Poha Chiwda

Here is the recipe for Roasted Poha Chiwda

Ingredients-

Thin Poha(flattened rice)- 250 gms

Puffed rice-200 gms

1 cup roasted chana dal

1 cup peanuts

2 teaspoon green chillies

1/2 bowl dried sliced or chopped coconut

10-15 curry leaves

2 tablespoon of oil

Spices-

2 teaspoon red chilli powder

2 teaspoon turmeric powder(haldi)

1 teaspoon white seasme seeds(til)

1 teaspoon cumin(jeera)

1 teaspoon fennel seeds(saunf)

1/2 teaspoon rai/mustard seeds

Pinch of asefoetida(hing)

Salt

Sugar powder-3 teaspoon

Dry Mango Powder(Amchur)- 2 teaspoon

Method-

1.Take a Kadhai add thin Poha to it. Roast it till it starts getting shrink and till its colour changes to light brown.

2. Same way roast puffed rice for 2-3 mins.It gets roasted very fast so no need to roast it much.

3. Keep poha and puffed rice aside in big plate.Add salt, sugar and dry mango powder to it.Mix it properly.

4. Now again in same Kadhai add oil and add peanut,roasted chana dal , dry coconut, green chillies and curry leaves one by one roast all seperately for 1-2 mins. Peanuts will take little time,roast it till its color changes slightly.

5. Transfer all ingredients over poha mixture.

6. Now add all spices in kadhai asefoetida, rai,seasme,cumin,fennel seeds, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.

7. Once it is done tranfer this tadka to poha mixture . Mix it properly with spatula. Chiwda is ready to eat.

Serve Healthy Roasted Poha Chiwda in a bowl as a light healthy snack with evening tea/coffee!

Note- You can adjust the quantity of spices according to you taste.
